ඉන්දීය ශාස්ත්රීය සංගීතයේ එන සප්ත ස්වරයන්ගෙන් හත්වන ස්වරය නිෂාද් නම් වේ. මෙය බොහෝ විට ඇතෙකුගේ කුංචනාදයට සමාන කරන අතර සංගීත මාලාවක සම්පූර්ණත්වය පෙන්නුම් කරයි.
In Indian classical music, Nishad is the seventh note of the sargam (musical scale). It is traditionally associated with the trumpet of an elephant and represents completion of the octave.
